Let’s see, gray, gray, gray, gray, gray, gray, and RED oh nice.

The special edition blue looks great. Only 124 being made though.
Seriously what is wrong with companies today. If I buy a sports car I want other colors than grayscale. It’s like real life is a black and white movie these days.
This is a serious disappointment to me as someone who would like to buy one of these.
I’d post pictures but kinja doesn’t play well with my work connection.

If they make a red car, it will compete with Ferrari. FCA can’t have that.

I have to agree. It’s even worse when the automaker offers more colours in a different country.
The brand new smart W453 has like, 500 different factory colour combinations in the EU. In the USA? Ha, I think maybe...15 colour combos, MAX...and one of them reserved to the launch edition. :(

All is forgiven because it comes in brown.

well red is the only non-gray color they offer

Dark red is trash red.

wow my eyes are fucked that is brown isn’t it.
I think I found the color I want lol
I would much rather have blue or racing green

What about the M3/4 that come in puke yellow, crayon blue, and rotten pumpkin? They offered colors at least? SMH

At least it looks good in black, IMO.

There’s nothing passionate about that red despite what they name it. Also, isn’t the whole point of this thing is to be a flashy little ‘vert to bop aroudn town in? These colors suck.

There is a new Fiat 124? What rock have I been living under? I wonder if it will be sold in Russia as Lada 2101. lol

It’s not grayscale, it’s the German rainbow!
But it pisses me off, too. Why make fun cars look boring? I like my cars to have color!
Let’s be honest, a midnight blue A4 with a tan interior is as colorful as Audi gets!

A good green wouldn’t go amiss, or a caramel yellow.

Why can’t we get this colour in the US? FFS.

So much this. Bergundy never looks good. But neither does a flat Ferrari red. I prefer some depth, like Mazda’s pearlescent Soul Red.

Well yes, but Americans buy off lots while Europeans order from the factory (slight generalization). This makes it easier for manufacturers to offer more options to Europeans as opposed to Americans. Upside for the Americans is lower price due to the
one size fits all
strategy.

Wow, those colors are terribly boring!
![]() 03/11/2016 at 13:17 |

Wow those colors are truly shit. Even the red is a terrible bland dark red.
This goes for the new Miata too. They do have that awesome Soul Red, but where is the pearl blue, green, yellow? They instead have that bland, pedestrian blue. Why even offer silver and grey in a Miata?!

OK, now I want a 124 Spider a bit less because it comes in crap colors.

Why even offer silver and grey in a Miata?!
So you can blend into the pavement and get crushed by a texting driver in a giant SUV.

They took a cue from Mazda’s color choices on the Mazdaspeed6:
Black (really dark grey), silver (grey), titanium (really grey), white (really light grey), cop-attracting red, and black cherry mica (kinda redish/purple/brown/black).
I didn’t even know I was a Jalop back then, but it seems I graviatated to the “brown” :)

I really want one of these, but that color selection is less than exciting...
